Farmers
At North Mountain Pastures, we work with several different farmers to bring you the best in pasture-raised products. Our farmers all produce to a standard that is marked by a high level of transparency. Here are the folks working hard to keep you fed!
North Mountain Pastures- Brooks Miller and Anna Santini
Our family farm is located in Markelsville, Perry County Pennsylvania. North Mountain Pastures (NMP) arose out of our dream to farm in a practical, sustainable way. NMP represents our desire to help other farmers - our friends - to find customers for their superior products. We raise chickens on pasture for meat and eggs. We are building a flock of Romney sheep for lamb and wool production. We raise Milking Devon cows for our own milk, Nubian goats for milk, and Tamworth hogs for pork. All of our animals enjoy permanent access to fresh pasture and are moved on a daily basis.
Coulter Farms - Kinley Coulter
Kinley Coulter farms with his wife Rebecca and four children. Their farm is 184 acres, of which 85 acres is pasture. The Coulters have been grazing cattle and producing grass-fed meat since 2001. Their operation was recently certified organic and grass-fed and all of their spring steers, pastures and hay production are now certified.
Hillside Farm - Christ and Lizzie Esh
Christ and Lizzie live on their farm in Honey Grove. They milk 30 Holstein-Jersey crosses, and make raw, grass-fed cheese at their creamery.
