Our People

Katie Irwin

Katie keeps North Mountain Pastures organized as kitchen & inventory manager, earning the title “Orga-nasty” from her pal Meg. With her degree in architecture from the University of Minnesota, Katie has been increasing her working knowledge in sustainable and alternative building techniques in Central PA. Katie especially loves having the opportunity to plaster and chink the interior of Brooks and Anna's new log home! She's interested in aquaculture, and can often be heard singing in the kitchen and dancing flamenco with the cows.

Meg McAuley

Meg is a recent graduate of Penn State University with a degree in biology. She has a passion for sustainability and showed up on the farm in January, enthusiastic and ready to learn. She is known around the farm for her artistic abilities and her speed at cutting up chickens and packing CSA shares. In her free time Meg makes jewelry and other crafts from recycled materials. She aspires to have her own farm and bed and breakfast hybrid someday.

Bryan Chang

Bryan is on loan to North Mountain Pastures from the world of management consulting, helping us with some of our marketing and sales.  He has a deep appreciation for restaurants and food (which is what brought him to us), and is slowly picking up how things work on the farm.  He is a graduate of Carleton College in Minnesota and has an MBA from the University of Chicago
